We shall examine not only the works of the better known medieval masters such as Duccio di Buoninsegna, the sculptors Nicola and Giovanni Pisano, and the Lorenzetti brothers, Pietro and Ambrogio, but also spend some time examining the later artistic heritage of Siena with Mannerist painters such as Sodoma, Beccafumi, and Francesco di Giorgio.
