This follow on course offers you the opportunity to plan and develop a personal outcome based on the photographers and styles covered in the previous course. You will be encouraged to reflect on your progress so far, evaluating which of the photographers inspired you the most and why? You will then be encouraged to choose just one Photographer to research and explore in depth, analysing and responding to their work in your own original way. Whilst researching, you will be practising how to make a photography journal, printing and writing about the development of your ideas.

This course is for carers, former carers and the cared for. We will be looking at the famous art forgers of the 20th Century and how they fooled the art world, its art historians, collectors and museum directors.

Aimed at those who have stories or working on a longer project, this course set over 5 hours in in one weekend, gives you dedicated time for writing and reflecting on your optimum creative process. You’ll set a daily achievable goal, refresh an element of story craft through the tutor’s stimulating exercises and extracts from published texts and write! We’ll immerse ourselves in short and longer writing exercises and get feedback from the tutor and peers when you share in pairs. Imagine the amount of work and momentum you’ll build over these two mornings. Set yourself up for success with dedicated time for writing.

Or perhaps you are a keen amateur photographer and would like to improve your images. You will learn how to enhance your images by adding a variety of Pixlr built in effects and adjustments. Add and customize text colour, style, border and curve the text. Pick colours in an image to paint with. Remove unwanted marks and objects using a variety of tools. Clone areas in an image. Combine and manipulate images. Replacing colours and use layers. Learn how to repair an old photograph using various techniques.

This Intermediate Microsoft 365 Word and PowerPoint course is aimed at Beginners with some basic knowledge of documents and Presentations who want to improve and learn further skills. What would improved digital skills mean for your career or everyday life? No matter what your job role is, the chances are your day-to-day life would be easier with enhanced computer skills. This knowledge can help you in a wide variety of routine situations. These can include creating CVs and helping your kids with their homework. Creating a presentation for an interview. You will learn how to enhance your documents with formatting, styles, images, Emoji’s, and a variety of Word templates. Review with the Word Editor. Create a table and a list. You will learn how to enhance your spreadsheet with formatting, images, and shapes. Sort and filter data. Customise a template. Create a chart that you can use in the workplace to present to colleagues or use for personal finances, budgets or creating a list of items and values.
