Course overview

This course will be taught in venue at Castleford Heritage Trust, Castleford. The learning delivered will enable participants to create or review their existing CV and ensure that the document they produce can be used as a basis for CVs that need to be shared with employers and/or to complete application forms. The learning will be interactive and engaging allowing learners to get the most out of each session. The focus of this course is to help participants to develop CV writing skills in preparation for seeking employment.

Course description

The Castleford Heritage Trust will host this face to face course at their venue. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to create or review your current CV to enable you to communicate what you can offer to prospective employers. You will review your experience and identify the skills, knowledge you have already aquired. You will know how to present this information along with any education, qualifications and training you have completed. You will understand how to share information such as contact and personal details ensuring that you protect your personal data whilst complying with employer requirements. Learning will be interactive and engaging allowing you to get the most out of each session in a fully supported face to face teaching experience. Whether you are trying to get back into work after a break from employment or looking to further yourself in a more professional role this course will enable you to develop your skills to enable you to begin to plan your next steps for employment opportunities.
