Course overview

This course is designed especially for learners preparing to take the Driving Theory Test. It covers the essential knowledge you need to learn, understand and prepare to pass your driving theory test. The course includes videos, worksheets, and quizzes for some subjects in the theory program. You will learn how to answer theory questions easily and how to score well on hazard perception clips. There is an open day at Wesley Hall on Thursday 18 April from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm where you will be able to enrol. If you would like to attend, please attend the open day.

Course description

The course is intended to support learners who want to develop their language, knowledge and understanding of driving in the UK. It is also suitable for anyone who hasn’t studied for the theory test. This course supports English as a second language for students as they practice language skills and build their knowledge about road theory and safety.

The focus is on providing a good understanding of the Highway Code as well as the structure and contents of the test. You will be able to express the areas where you struggle, such as terminology, highway code, hazard etc. The course will help you understand the complex terms used in the theory test. You will learn most of the signs and symbols of the Highway Code and traffic rules in the UK. This will enable you to drive safely on the road in the UK. It will motivate students to take a practice test confidently.
