Course overview
Course description
This course will help you to find out more about animal related work. We will consider a range of different roles from dog groomer to veterinary nurse. You will learn about some freelance opportunities and will be encouraged to share your own ideas with your fellow learners. We will consider positive and challenging aspects of working with animals. A focus of the course is on developing your knowledge of the basic care needs of dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and aquarium fish. Throughout the course, you will discuss ideas in small groups with tutor support. Completion of the course should enable you to approach job interviews related to working with animals with increased confidence.
