Level 2 Step into Child Development and Well-Being is ideal for those wanting to work with children from birth to age five. These topics cover basic skills you need to know about the development and care of younger children and are ideal for those thinking or preparing to work in early years settings such as nurseries and preschools, as well as those looking to become a childminder or nanny.

Course description

This course is perfect if you like working with children, want to pursue a career in the Early Years, and want to gain the skills to achieve this. It is intended to support students planning to do the Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People or hold Level 1 in an early-year setting. Students will learn essential information about child development, Safeguarding the welfare of children, the importance of play for early years, Craft Activities with Children and communicating in the early years. Through learning enjoyable activities and interactivities, students will improve their caring skills. Role-play and games will be included to help students.

Most of our courses are government funded but if you don't qualify or need alternative financial help to access them then let us know.
