This Intermediate Pixlr Online Photo Editor course is aimed at Beginners with some basic knowledge of photo editing who would like to learn further skills. Or perhaps you are a keen amateur photographer and would like to improve your images. You will learn how to enhance your images by adding a variety of Pixlr built in effects and adjustments. Add and customize text colour, style, border and curve the text. Pick colours in an image to paint with. Remove unwanted marks and objects using a variety of tools. Clone areas in an image. Combine and manipulate images. Replacing colours and use layers. Learn how to repair an old photograph using various techniques.

Course description

In this Intermediate photo editing course, you’ll learn how to edit and enhance photos using imaging software. Learn to add text and apply filters to pictures. Understand how to crop out details and apply layers. Explore techniques to remove unwanted marks and objects. Clone areas in an image. Combine and manipulate images. Replacing colours and use layers. Repair an old photo using a variety of different tools.

By the end of the course, you’ll feel confident using the image editing software to create beautiful designs. Learning to edit and enhance your pictures can help to improve the quality of your photos.

This creative course focuses specifically on editing images rather than capturing them.

You’ll need access to the internet to take this photo editing course. Your tutor will upload useful materials to Canvas, the WEA’s digital learning platform.
