This course is for existing WEA learners studying accredited courses.

Course description

This course addresses the unique challenges faced by adult learners entering or returning to education. Throughout the program, participants will delve into key study skills crucial for navigating the demands of academic coursework with confidence and proficiency. The curriculum covers various facets of effective learning, including efficient note-taking methods to capture and retain information, time management strategies to balance academic commitments with personal and professional responsibilities, and critical thinking techniques to analyse and evaluate complex concepts.

Moreover, learners will develop essential academic writing skills, such as structuring essays, citing sources accurately, and crafting persuasive arguments.
