Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you’re not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.

Course description
This course is designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to access a wide range of public and community services effectively. Learners will be able to identify and access essential services in the local area and will also learn how to identify and navigate essential services, including healthcare, education, social services, housing, and legal aid. Learners will develop the skills and knowledge through guided instruction, case studies, and practical exercises, students will become proficient in understanding their legal rights, locating resources, seek advice and assistance in matter of housing, employment and welfare, and advocating for themselves and others. This course is ideal for those looking to enhance their ability to access and utilize vital services within their community. It will build confidence in self advocacy and supporting others in accessing services, as well as being able to explore strategies for overcoming barriers to access services, such as language, transportation or technology challenges. It will help connect the learner with local service providers and resources to build a personal network of support
