Course description
This is a short course about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). You will find out about gender differences, possible causes or risk factors and behaviours that challenge that may have a significant impact on the individual and their family and friends.
We will also look at some of the other conditions that may be experienced by the individual. You will learn how ADHD can affect the individual’s daily life and their learning, personal and career goals.
You will discuss with your fellow learners strategies and interventions that may benefit the individual and their family. You will learn what to do if you suspect a child has ADHD and will gain an understanding of the diagnostic process.
