Functional skills maths is at a beginner’s level - entry level 2.

This course is based on face-to-face teaching in a classroom setting.

You will cover all the numeracy and Maths skills you need to pass this Functional Skills maths course at the right level for you.

Functional skills maths courses teach you essential maths skills for employment and everyday life. This is an adult maths course with a practical focus.

For this course, you’ll also need an internet connection. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.

Before you can enrol on this course, you’ll do an assessment. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam. It is for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level.

In addition to maths and numeracy; citizenship, employability and digital skills will also be embedded in the programme.

Assessment of learning will be done regularly throughout the course.

Information, advice and guidance will also be given to enable further course/professional progression.
