Course overview
Course description
This is a course for an LLDD group at Vicarage Court Care home. This is a gentle exercise course which focuses on the mind and body whilst improving fitness and well-being. You will gain confidence and develop your skills by practising a variety of gentle movements to strengthen the upper and lower body. Your mind will connect with your body while participating in a range of movements which will be adapted to suit you.
Some movements will help you with your posture and in some cases improve flexibility. These exercises are slow and repetitive and are demonstrated by your tutor who can help you with any modifications. At the end of the course, you could build on your fitness and do another exercise class or try something different. Your tutor will provide you with additional information regarding future courses and progression.
