Course overview

This short course aims to encourage you to get involved in Mental Health awareness week 2024. The theme to support mental wellbeing this year is 'Movement: moving more for our mental health'. Being active is essential for good mental health and wellbeing, yet so many of us struggle to get enough exercise. Seated Yoga is a type of movement that aims to make movement accessible to everyone - why not give it a try? You will be guided through exercises that help to ease stiffness in all of the joints, you will practice simple stretches and accessible seated poses that help to keep you strong and mobile. At the end of the session you will enjoy a guided deep relaxation.
