Course description

Embark on a transformative culinary journey with our Cooking for Wellbeing course, a comprehensive 21-hour exploration of the profound connection between food and holistic wellness. Rooted in the principles of mindful eating and nutrition, this course offers participants a holistic approach to cooking that prioritises nourishment of the body, mind, and spirit.

Throughout the program, students will delve into the fundamentals of nutrition science, learning how to select and prepare ingredients that support optimal health and vitality. From vibrant fruits and vegetables to whole grains and lean proteins, participants will discover the power of incorporating wholesome, nutrient-rich foods into their daily meals.

Each session will feature engaging cooking demonstrations and hands-on practice, allowing students to master essential skills. Students will learn to create delicious and satisfying dishes that not only awaken the taste buds but also provide essential nutrients to support overall wellbeing.

Moreover, this course will explore the significance of food, encouraging students to develop a deeper appreciation for the culinary traditions that shape our relationship with what we eat.

By the end of the course, students will emerge with a newfound confidence in their cooking abilities, equipped with the knowledge and skills to prepare nourishing meal and bakes at home, that promote physical health, mental clarity, and emotional balance.
