Course description
This course is for beginner ESOL students. This course will help you build your confidence with budgeting and language related to budgeting. Have you wanted to better understand your bills but don’t know where to start? Do you want to save money or think of ways to help you stretch your money a bit further? You can discuss different strategies, share budgeting ideas and learn what others do to budget. Learn simple costings and start to look at simple calculations. This course will provide a safe place to talk about budgeting issues. This course can lead to a longer budgeting course to take the subject further. This course is part of Southampton City Council’s Multiply programme and is free to residents of Southampton who live in the following postcodes SO14, SO15, SO16, SO17, SO18 and SO19.
