Healthy Living: Meditation, Mindfulness and Yoga Nidra to encourage restful sleep

This course will introduce learners to meditation, mindfulness, and Yoga Nidra practices, specifically designed to promote restful sleep. Sleep difficulties negatively impact our physical and mental well-being, this course aims to equip learners with a personalised toolkit to support a restful night's sleep and enhance their overall well-being. Health conditions that cause physical discomfort often compromise our ability to sleep - techniques taught on this course such as Progressive Muscle Relaxation and gentle mindful movement will support learners to ease physical pain and discomfort to encourage restful sleep. The mindful breathing practices included in the course will help individuals stay present and manage stress and anxiety, which can often disrupt sleep patterns. Guided Yoga Nidra facilitates deep rest and can both induce sleep and promote better quality sleep. By the end of their course, learners will be able to create their own personalised wind-down routine to encourage restful sleep, supporting both their physical and mental well-being.
