Course description

Start your journey as we explore five films from Satyajit Ray, India's most accomplished director. Delve into his poetic and realist approach, capturing the complexities of a changing India.

You'll be taking a look into the masterpieces of his celebrated work, 'The Apu Trilogy,' and also explore two key films from the peak of his career: Pather Panchali (1955), Aparajito (1956), The World of Apu (1959), Mahanagar / The Big City (1963), and Charulata / The Lonely Wife (1964).
