The tutor will facilitate discussion and relate this to ideas from Philosophy. If you are interested in exploring different responses to headline stories please join us. The course does not require any previous experience in Philosophy. Key ideas will be introduced by the tutor ranging from famous quotations to theories developed in political and moral philosophy. Resources, ranging from podcasts to newspaper articles, will be used by the tutor to develop our understanding of both philosophical ideas and issues in current affairs. The course is for both beginners and anyone who already has any experience in this subject. The day will involve a variety of topics and philosophical concepts.
