Course description
Join us as we take a look at significant period in American history. The remarkable event of The American Revolution. This course will outline how the United States of America came into being. It will consider the implications of the ‘Glorious Cause’ for the inhabitants of the British colonies in North America and look at some of the issues that remained unresolved until another war and another time. Learners will gain some knowledge of the nature of pre-revolutionary America and recognise why there was an American Revolution. We will also look at how the colonists were able to achieve independence. Join guest tutor Roger McMaster on this fascinating look into this period of America's colourful history.
This is an in venue course being held at the historic Danbury Parish Church, St John the Baptist in Danbury.
