Course overview
Course description
The course starts by explaining the basics: what the climate is, how it is changing, and how this affects weather, food, water, jobs, and health.
You will learn how things we do every day—like travel, cooking, or using electricity—can affect the climate. You will also discover many ways we can protect our homes, save money, and care for the Earth at the same time. We will talk about how climate change affects people in various places, especially those with fewer resources, and how working together can make our communities stronger. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and confidence to talk about climate change
and take simple actions that help the environment and your community. Everyone can have influence—and this course will help you get started.
