Pre-Entry Improve your Communication Skills

This course is designed to help learners improve their physical and mental health, as well as their overall wellbeing. It focuses on building communication skills, boosting self-confidence, and encouraging active participation in community life. The course supports the goals of Leicester’s Care, Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2022–2027, which outlines key priorities for enhancing the wellbeing of local residents: Healthy Minds: Tackling social isolation among older adults and the wider community. Healthy Lives: Promoting independence for people living with long-term health conditions. Healthy Ageing: Enabling older adults to live safely in their homes and communities while reducing the risk of falls in those aged 65 and over. In addition, the course contributes to key objectives of Adult and Community Learning (ACL), including: Improving or maintaining health and social wellbeing. Increasing confidence and motivation to pursue further learning opportunities.
