Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you’re not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.

Course description
On this course you will learn:
- how to write and say the numbers 11-20
- There are 26 letters of the alphabet you will learn how to read, write and say these letters in upper and lower case. Upper case letters are called capitals and are used at the start of a sentence and for the first letter of words that are names.
- How to talk about your feelings, for example I feel happy, I feel sad, I feel hot, I feel cold, I feel poorly, My forehead feels hot, I feel shivery, my foot hurts, I feel sick.
- How to talk about what you like and dislike, for example I like my children, I like coming to class, I don't like cleaning, I like being outside in the sunshine, I don't like being outside in the rain or the snow,
- Each letter has a sound to go with it, you will learn how to use these initial letter sounds to help you to read words.
