Course overview

This course will help improve your confidence in your speaking and listening, reading and writing skills in English ready for working in the UK. The course will help intermediate ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) to learn about the English language and the essential skills they need to use it in their lives here in the UK and to help their journey towards/in work. The course does have an initial assessment at the start to identify that you are the course level to join the course.

Course description

This course is designed to get learners more confident when using English in their day to day lives and with their journey to gaining employment here in the UK/ to support them whilst working here. The course is for those learners who have some basic English language at the moment and they will be tested before enrolment to make sure that they are on the correct course for their level. The course is designed to help empower learners to find more independence by being a step closer gaining employment. The course will be run online using Canvas and Zoom. This offers flexibility as the course is offered in the evenings. The course will be taught by a qualified tutor. The classes will have a mixture of activities including activities to enhance their confidence through the learning f the essential skills such as speaking, listening, reading and writing. The course offered is unaccredited, however it is hoped that it can progress learners towards an accredited qualification.

We don't want anything to stand in your way when it comes to bringing Adult learning within reach so if you need anything to support you to achieve your goals then speak to one of our education experts during your enrolment journey. Most of our courses are government funded but if you don't qualify or need alternative financial help to access them then let us know.
