Course overview
Course description
This course is designed to get learners familiar with the vocabulary and language that they will find in the highway code, what to expect on the hazard perception part of the test and the driving theory exam layout. The course is for learners with an intermediate level of English and they will need to complete a test to be enrolled. The pre-course test will help establish whether their understanding of the language is good enough for the course. The course is designed to help empower learners to find more independence by being a step closer to passing their driving tests and getting on the road. This course could help impact their future career and employability prospects. The course will be run face to face in a local friendly community venue where learners will be taught in a classroom by a qualified tutor. The classes will have a mixture of activities including worksheets, quizzes and teamwork. The course offered is unaccredited, however it is hoped that it can progress learners towards the further driving theory course upon completion. This is a short course which will support learners with their revision. The course is 11 weeks long to start but a second course will be added for those learners who require further support.
