This ESOL entry 2 reading course builds on skills you learnt at entry 1. Grow your vocabulary and improve your reading skills in English. There are also writing and speaking & listening courses at this level.

This is an English course for adults. You will work on developing your reading skills.
You need foundational reading skills to take this course, that’s why you’ll need to do a skills check to enrol. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam. It’s for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level.

When you complete this module, you can continue with other entry 2 ESOL courses. Once you finish the reading, writing, and speaking & listening courses, you can progress to entry 3 level.
There are also “Get Ready” courses between each module to prepare you for the next course.
What to expect
This ESOL skills for life entry 2 reading course takes around 90 hours to complete.
Please note that you’ll need an internet connection to study this ESOL course. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.
