The aim of this programme is to help you start your ESOL classes with the prior knowledge you’ll need.
Get ready for ESOL entry 1 writing is an English course for adults. You will develop basic writing skills. It’s aimed at complete beginners so you don’t need any prior knowledge to sign up.
Before you can enrol on this course, you’ll do a skills check. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam. It’s for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level. Our friendly team will contact you to start your skills check as part of your booking.
When you complete this introductory course, you will be ready to take the ESOL entry 1 writing course.
There are “get ready” courses between each module to prepare you for the next course.
What to expect
This get ready for ESOL course takes around 40 hours to complete. It gives you more opportunities to learn the writing skills required for an entry 1 writing qualification.
Please note that you’ll need an internet connection to study this English course for beginners. This is so you can access our digital learning platform, Canvas.
