It is designed to lead on to study at Entry 1. It is not an accredited course. The aim of this programme is to help you start your ESOL classes with the prior knowledge you’ll need. First Steps in ESOL is an English course for adults. You will develop basic English language skills. It’s aimed at complete beginners so you don’t need any prior knowledge to sign up. Before you can enrol on this course, you’ll do a skills check. Don’t worry, this isn’t an exam. It’s for us to make sure you get on the right course for your level. Our friendly team will contact you to start your skills check as part of your booking. When you complete this introductory course, you will be ready to move on to learning at ESOL Entry 1.
