Course overview
Course description
This course is open to adults who wish to learn to knit and those who wish to improve their knitting skills. We will look at the skills needed to read a knitting pattern and be able to knit a garment. The course will give you an opportunity to share ideas and knowledge as well as improving confidence and wellbeing in a friendly and supportive environment.
You will be guided by our experienced tutor on the very basics of knitting and encouraged to begin your own garments in the class.
This course will introduce you to basic knit stiches casting off and how to knit and pearl stiches. If you are a more experienced knitter our tutor will be able to demonstrate different techniques that will take your kniting to the next level.
By the end of this course, you will feel more confident to take on knitting projects at home and begin to produce a wide range of knitted garments and products.
