Course overview
This 15-week course, will gently build up your confidence creating by stitching so that you can consider or take first steps to starting your own business. You'll learn face to face in a supportive atmosphere and will be encouraged to start and progress your own sewing project. This course is designed to help learners wishing to start tailoring business or work in line with garment manufacturing, Tutor support and guide by setting step by step simple sewing tasks and technique you required to confidently achieve your learning outcomes .
Course description
Sewing can open a world of possibilities and if you've always wanted to improve your sewing skills, this is the course for you.
Whether mending cushion covers or creating a new design, making your own pillow cases or duvet cover, you'll learn the skills you need to take expand your sewing, make your own items and consider using them to start your own business.
This course may build confidence in your creative ability or could lead to an enjoyable career change - it could hold the key to your future; some knowledge of basic sewing is required, but please bring yourself and your enthusiasm.
