Course overview
Course description
This is a ten week course that is for beginners and experienced learners. The course is designed with you, the learner in mind and will allow you to expand on your knowledge of using a Digital device to take photographs in and around the Bensham areas of Gateshead. The course will help you to understand the functions on your camera, by expanding on the use of light and angles to achieve exquisite photographs. You will be shown how to upload your photographs into easily accessible files so that you can share and exhibit your work at ease. The heritage of Gateshead and the surrounding areas are of great interest and here you will find some of your best subject matter, whether it is a building of great significance or simply the back lanes and the network of streets that make up the area. You will be invited to showcase your work at the end of the course in the historical surroundings, which is Saint Chads, where you will be able to demonstrate to family and friends how you have developed on the course over the previous weeks. There will be some gentle walking involved in the course to enable the group you are studying with to reach the topical destinations that have been targeted by the tutor.
