Entry Levels 1,2,3: If you have never studied this subject before and you’re not confident in your skills, Entry levels are a good starting point.
Level 1: Covers basic skills and knowledge needed for this subject
Level 2: Building on basic knowledge or experience. Similar to Grade 4/ C at GCSE or O level in England or Standards in Scotland.
Level 3: Learn about the topic in-depth and have a broad range of skills. Independent working Equivalent to an A level in England or Higher in Scotland.
Beginners: A perfect introduction if you have no experience and skills in this subject.
Improvers: The next step if you have basic skills or knowledge but want to progress them further.

Course description
This course is designed to introduce participants to the art and technique of photography. Understanding the functions and the fundamentals of camera operation, composition, lighting, and post-processing, students will learn how to create compelling images that capture moments and tell stories. Through hands-on practice, interactive lessons, and critiques, participants will develop their technical skills and artistic vision, enabling them to produce high-quality photographs. Explore different types of lighting and their effects on photographs. Learn to develop skills in various photography genres, including portrait, landscape and street photography. You will be able to build a personal portfolio of photographs showcasing a range of techniques and styles and that tell stories. Whether using a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or smartphone, this course is ideal for beginners and those looking to enhance their photography skills.
