This can be achieved in all areas including, cutting skills, original designs, use of materials and creating a professional finish overall. This is also an opportunity to explore different mosaic techniques such as the mesh or embedded method. You will be given a refresher session on the use of Andamento and encouraged to explore the possibilities in your own work. You will be challenged to push your own boundaries by reflecting on your strengths and weaknesses during the feedback sessions and setting your own goals.
All equipment is provided, or you can bring your own. Most students will need to purchase some materials from the tutor at cost price; depending on the project this might include china, glass, bases, adhesive and grout, etc. Aprons are provided or you can bring your own.
