Course overview
Course description
Discover the wonderful world of crafts with this creative course. Whether you're a long-time craft lover who
wants a new skill or simply looking to dip your toe into a new hobby, you'll love this craft course. Your tutor will
guide you through the process of creating your bags and boxes step by step, and there will be ample
opportunity to ask questions, and to share your thoughts, ideas and inspiration with the rest of the group.
We will be using our digital platform ‘Canvas’ to set clear objectives and upload our completed projects to a
weekly discussion to share our feedback across the group.
During this course we will discover: · why it is so important to be accurate when measuring and cutting our card and papers? · Is it essential to score your card-stock and what happens if you don’t? · New craft skills to create your own bags and boxes from scratch · Create a personalised set of gift-wrap for someone special · Apply new skills and approaches to other craft designs and future projects. You do not need any special tools to attend this course, however a score board would be incredibly useful, especially for bigger boxes and bags. Large patterned paper pads 12” x 12”, some glue and double sided tape, pencil, ruler eraser. By the end of this creative course, you'll be hooked on crafting and you may want to consider further crafting and papercraft courses such as ‘Christmas in September- getting a head start on handmade Christmas cards. Or maybe Festive Fun Makes or Delve into Decoupage are more your thing – whichever you decide to do just bring yourself and some enthusiasm.
