Course description

Explore creative methods to turn unwanted fabrics and garments into unique and valued items and enjoy the chance to connect with like-minded individuals to share ideas and inspiration. We will cover basic hand and machine stitches in detail as well as when and where to use them. We will also highlight the importance of learning hand stitching as there are many instances where this is the better option over machine stitching. We will be working on individual projects each week; learners are welcome to choose and bring their own projects.
