Course overview
This course is designed to encourage you to develop, expand and discover new and further styles, expand your own knowledge and understanding of being creative within the mix-media techniques enabling you to experiment, creating your own style working with several different art materials, discovering, different paints techniques and the use of different craft items from textural creative items to bright colourful art materials, Also enabling you to upcycled many images found around the home or whilst you are out and about, such as out on a walks, collecting foliage. There will be lots of discussion and discovering artists who use the mix-media techniques. Whether you have worked within mix-media before and just like to further your own knowledge and skills or new to the idea of mixing a number of art materials together and like to take the journey to explore, join this course with enthusiasm, to share and develop your own ideas with others.
Course description
This course is designed to introduce to you several different styles of painting techniques onto glass and ceramics, enabling you to develop you own style and understanding of working within the decorative colourful paints and making your own decorative pieces, a chance to revamp old and tired pottery and glassware, or use upcycled other materials. Ther will be a lot of discussion and touching on a like history of decorative glass and ceramic painted pieces, as well as reviewing well-known artists who use the techniques within their artwork. Whether you have worked with decorative paints before or are new to this skill, join us with great enthusiasm to share and develop your own knowledge and skills with others .
