DIUS Consultation Matrix Accreditation Open University Student
of the year

'WEA Yorkshire and Humber region has recently been awarded MATRIX accreditation. We now have the MATRIX quality ‘kite mark’ which means we have met their standards for the way in which we deliver information and advice on learning. A MATRIX Assessor spent two days in the region in July looking at our publicity and documents and interviewing staff, learners and some of our partner organisations.

We received some excellent feedback from the Assessor who seemed impressed with what the WEA has to offer and how we support our learners.

'clients (learners) really can explore the suitability of courses to meet their needs. If needs can't be met, there is a genuine commitment to helping people find the right solution'
