Sales Ledger Assistant
Location: Leeds
Hours: 35 hours per week 1.0 FTE
Salary: Grade 6 £17,593 - £19,552 per annum
Contract: Permanent
We are seeking to recruit a Finance Assistant to provide a customer focused service for our students and Business Units. The role includes collecting fees, raising invoices, allocating payments and chasing debts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing in line with the relevant policies and preparing income reconciliations at month and year end. They will also be required to assist colleagues with general administrative support and purchase ledger as required. Candidates should have good IT skills together with an eye for attention to detail.
An NVQ level 2 or proven equivalent experience is essential, together with demonstrable experience in a related role and knowledge of transaction processing & legislation. Experience in working with Open Accounts would be advantageous.
