The Workers’ Educational Association is a charity and the UK’s largest voluntary sector provider of adult education. All our educational provision is developed with this in mind and our courses can be set up almost anywhere – for example in clubs, community centres, village halls, schools or where people work.
The Education Coordinator is responsible for the development, delivery and maintenance of a specified programme of educational provision with the focus on an outstanding student experience. Supporting and managing tutors to deliver outstanding educational provision, in addition you will have responsibility for local partnerships and for identifying potential business development opportunities in line with regional objectives. You may have responsibility for identified specialist aspects of provision such as communications, quality or teaching. You will be expected to represent the WEA and promote both the Association and the value of adult education in their area.
