The first port of call may be your tutor or your WEA Regional Office. However, there are many organisations that can help if you need help beyond the WEA.

If you are over twenty , you can get help free of charge from your local nextstep service. Ask your tutor or your Regional Office, or visit the nextstep website.
Connexions
If you are under twenty , you can get help from your local Connexions. Ring their national line on 080 800 13219 or visit the connexions website.
learndirect
Learndirect is the national learning advice centre. Visit the learndirect website or contact the helpline free of charge on 0800 100 900. The helpline is open from 8am until 10pm and can give you local contact details and offer you telephone advice.

University of the Third Age
The University of the Third Age (U3A) website offers some online courses and links to local groups. It is a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment, which aims to provide educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly environment.
Further Education
There is a helpful list of all the further education colleges in the UK on the Higher Education and Research Opportunities (HERO) website.
Many colleges offer free information, advice and guidance sessions as well as information about their courses.
