Teaching with WEA

Our tutors are the 'face' of the WEA - and we have over 2,000 working with us every year. The tutor role is made up of a range of activities throughout the ‘learner journey’ – some happen before the course starts, others during the course and others at the end of the course.

For more information on teaching with the WEA, please download our "Teaching for the WEA" leaflet here and find more below.

Information and advice for learners for information on supporting learners throughout their ‘learner journey’ .

Safeguarding contacts and support for any issues or concerns.

Learner facing policies which outline the standards we aim to meet for learners, as well as documents which describe learners' responsibilities to the WEA

Our self assessment report, which is our own evaluation of our work: how well we engage and support our learners to enjoy their learning and achieve.

The documents below are intended to support tutors. Documents relating to courses will be sent directly to you by your regions. If you have any questions, contact your Course Organiser or regional office.
