At national level, the WEA is a member organisation of those listed below. In addition to these, the WEA works in partnership at local and regional level with around 1,600 other amenity, cultural and community-based organisations.

ADSET is a membership organisation dedicated to improving the quality, management, use and usefulness of information in the education, training, careers guidance and employment fields. It achieves this by drawing up standards for recording information, through publications and seminars, and by bringing together experts in its various areas of interest.
Development Education Association (DEA) - www.dea.org.uk
The DEA aims to support and promote the work of all those engaged in raising awareness and understanding of global and development issues in the UK. It aims to bring global perspectives into all aspects of learning in the UK – from the school classroom to universities to local community activities to the media.
International Federation of Workers' Education Associations (IFWEA) - www.ifwea.org
IFWEA was founded in 1947, and today has member organisations all over the world. These members include associations for workers' education, foundations operating within the framework of the labour movement, educational organisations of trade unions, social democratic educational institutions, and groups involved in vocational education.
NIACE (The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education) - www.niace.org.uk
A non-governmental organisation that aims to promote the study and general
advancement of adult continuing education through work in all fields of UK education and training.
National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) - www.ncvo-vol.org.uk
The NCVO works with and for the voluntary sector in England by providing information, advice and support and by representing the views of the sector to government and policy-makers.
The British Association of Settlements and Social Action Centres (BASAAC) - www.bassac.org.uk
BASAAC is a membership body for community organisations to help to tackle local issues at a regional and national level.
