The Region offers a wide range of courses for adults across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Northamptonshire. Classes are run through local branches, our community outreach programme or through the workplace. Our branches - 60 over the East Midlands, ranging from Matlock in the Peak Region to Skegness on the east coast - are based in villages, towns and cities such as Nottingham, Lincoln, Leicester and Derby.
There might be a branch near you!
We offer people the opportunity to study with knowledgeable tutors and friendly fellow class members - and we encourage students to have a say in the planning of their own learning. All students on our courses have the opportunity to suggest what courses the local branch or group puts on.
Studying with the WEA East Midlands Region

- social studies
- personal development
- helping people back into education
.....and many, many more. Everyone welcome - you can come along to the first meeting without obligation or book a place through the post.
