Course description
This course is ideal for anyone interested in learning the practical skills and knowledge in numbers to help you manage your money better.
You will learn the language and communication skills needed to understand what you are spending and to explain how you want to use your money. You’ll learn ways to take charge of your finances and to understand, discuss, and explain:
• Money and family budgeting including prioritising, savings and reducing expenditures
• Payslips, tax codes, bank statements
• Loans – cost of borrowing
• Payment problems, credit scores, arrangements, bankruptcy
You will be helped to talk about different strategies and ideas on how to spend, save, and budget and learn from others.
Supported by an experienced financial advisor tutor, this course is ideal for beginners who want to increase their skills, knowledge, confidence, and ability to understand and explain how they want to use their money.
For this online course, you will need to have a computer/ laptop / tablet, a stable internet connection and basic IT skills to attend the course.
